Five days of Connection, Breathwork, Music & Ceremony

Dear one,

I am beyond delighted to share with you this official invitation to the Breathwork Masterclass Gathering of 2026, taking place from 2-6 September at New Eden (Friesland).

Every summer, we invite the members of our breathwork community to a retreat that goes far beyond learning professional breathwork tools. It is a place to immerse yourself into deep connection with nature, community and the ancient art of being a human.

A safe container where we share all the best that this work has to offer, where the power of breathwork meets music & rhythm, creative expression, storytelling, and community.

The theme of this year is EMBODYING JOY:
In the midst of the “meaning crisis” where the world seems to be falling apart, polarisation is getting stronger, geopolitical media are pumping fear into our hearts, and the rise of AI makes more and more people feel dehumanised and disembodied…

How can we anchor ourself in a sense of peace?
How can we be of service to a greater good?
How can we keep trust in the future?

During this retreat we will explore the simplicity of the answers that lie within.
Embodying joy in a time of chaos can – at the surface – seem like escapism, or even irresponsible…but…

What if a path of embodied joy is the deepest, most service minded thing that we can do?
What if our deepest inner wisdom – the compass of our awareness – speaks to us through a sense of joy in our body?
What if the only way to carry the weight of this crazy world is to come together in joy?

True embodied joy does not look away from or try to escape the heaviness of life: it encapsulates and welcomes any grief, trauma, sadness, frustration or anger…to be transmuted into insight, healing and clarity.

The modalities we offer in this retreat are not new, they are as old as being human. And the more “the machines” start to take over, the more we get to remember what it is to be human.

To gather with likeminded people,
to breathe and sing together,
to move and dance together,
to share stories and insights together.

To face the darkness and dissolve it in the light of our shared joy.

This retreat is for those in our community who feel a deep resonance with our vibes and a strong calling to the modalities and practices that we offer in this program (see below). Those who seek inner refuge from the chaos of the world, who want to nourish their hearts with likeminded people, and share this magical journey with me and my amazing team. We will welcome your whole being with all of its parts into our circle.

THE PROGRAM

Mornings: Deep Breathwork

Each morning starts with cacao, truffle microdose and a deep breathwork session. The live music and our team of spaceholders will help you feel safe, loved and free to release, express and explore your inner world.

• Deep inner journeys with guided breathwork, cacao and microdose
• Live music and soundscapes to enhance the experience.
• Group activities focused on transformation and self-reflection.

Afternoons: Workshops and sessions (breakout)

Afternoons are spent exploring the depths of transformation, embodiment and joyful expression through storytelling, workshops, and sharing exercises.

• Esoteric Storytelling, exploring spirituality through myth, symbol and archetype.
• Guided shadow work to uncover new layers of transformation and release.
• Music workshops to connect to our heartbeat and express through rhythm.
• Voice liberation work to free your expression and master your breath control.

Evenings: Celebration and Tribe vibes (whole group)

• Including singing circles, concerts, rituals and dances around the fire.
• Opportunities for small group sharing and bonding.
• Surprise elements to enhance the sense of celebration and connection.

Truffle Ceremony

On Friday we will spend the whole day in sacred ceremony with the magic truffle. This ceremony will be done in the “Viva Cura” style. You are invited to sit with a small but present dose of truffles, and be present around the fire altar to spend the whole day singing songs from our “Song of Source” songbook.

This consists of the chanting and recitation of mantras, affirmations and prayers in “kirtan style” songs. This ancient practice – in our modern adaptation – brings about a deep state of trance, joy and togetherness that is impossible to describe.

Note: Ingestion of truffles is always completely optional. If you do not feel called to sit with the truffles, you can still have an amazing time by connecting with your breath, the songs and the shared energy that is created!

Spa and wellness

Aside from the program, we will also have sauna and an ice bath available so that you can relax and unwind with the soothing wonders of heat, cold and deep connection. You can go all-out on the content of the program, and/or step away to embrace summer festival vibes whenever it suits you.

Many of you have expressed interest in sharing the vibes and experiences of our work with friends, family, or loved ones who may not have attended before. So, after the success of last year, we welcome you to do so! This not only enriches the event experience for existing tribies but also introduces new individuals to the community and its values, fostering connections and relationships beyond the event itself.

The program aims to provide a holistic experience, balancing inner work, skill-building, creative expression, and community engagement in a way that is accessible to all of us. This means that whomever you bring does not need extensive pre-existing knowledge of breathwork, or to have followed our other education. Meanwhile, the deeper elements of the course allow you to dive in at your own level and learn and grow according to what suits you.
